US romance narrated by a maiden aunt. A summer holiday suffices to transfer Royal Sterne's affections from his fiancee, Margie, to the flirtatious Blanche Herreshoff; breaking Margie's heart. The party breaks up when Margie is injured in a fall from her horse, and she eventually visits England to recover her health and spirit. Whilst there she learns of Blanche's jilting of Royal and he returns to beg Margie's forgiveness ... Competently written. (PB)
