'Treasures in a Tea Tin is a delightful story of girls and boys growing-up in Rockhampton in the early 1900s. Central to this group of teenagers was Joan Archer, born at Gracemere homestead and later a pupil at Rockhampton Girls' Grammar School. Then she travelled to London in 1906 to complete her education, her Rockhampton classmates kept in touch through handwritten letters and colourful postcards.
