BiographyHistory

According to the publisher of Lum's collection, Poems, Bernice Lum "is perhaps better known for her musical compositions than for her poems. She is the composer of many piano, violin, 'cello, and vocal works." At the time of publishing Poems Lum was seventeen years of age.

Later, as Binnie (or Binny) Lum, she became a well known personality on radio and television. She also compiled Favourite Recipies of Famous Men (1975).
