BiographyHistory

Paulsen has a close association with the field of science fiction as a reader, bibliographer, writer, reviewer, interviewer and editor. He has twice won the William Atheling Award for excellence in science fiction criticism. Paulsen was the founder and editor of The Australian SF Writers' News (1992-1994) and his interviews, articles and short fiction have appeared in a range of science fiction journals and anthologies. Paulsen was assistant editor and primary contributor to The MUP Encyclopaedia of Australian Science Fiction and Fantasy (1998).
