1 y separately published work icon Australia's Song-Bird : Mollie McNutt, Poetry and Prose M. E. McNutt , Jane Lally (editor), Armidale : Jane Lally , 2021 23164671 2021 selected work poetry prose

'Before her death at only 33, Mollie McNutt endeared herself to readers with her poems and stories of bush life, bird-life school life and war. Her works were used in the Australian school curriculum, her book sold out before it reached the shops, and she's been called the Australian song-bird and poet laureate. Four of the poems have been published as songs. A bush teacher, then a bush teacher's wife, McNutt wrote about the inspiring places and people around her. The works in the book have been sourced from Australian newspapers, using Trove.'
