He is teased a lot and it feels horrible. Sports' days are especially hard for him to bear. Life is pretty grim until Jess makes friends with Sam and teaches him about Remembrance Day and what it means to have courage. With Jess as his friend Sam joins in with the other kids at play time and comes to realise that while he isn't much good at sports that’s not what really matters.'
