Notes

  • Possibly the same Irvine Douglas (q.v.) as the AustLit agent indexed for writing three short stories (1924) and a piece of prose intended for children (1925).
  • It is also possible that this author is the same Irvine Douglas who was a prominent newspaper editor. Further verification needed. The bio entry at the National Library of Australia reads: Mr Douglas, one of Australia's most distinguished journalists, was the Commonwealth Government publicity officer from 1934-1938 and was private secetary to Joseph Lyons from 1936-1938. He was also on the editorial staff of several Sydney newspapers and a member of the Australian Associated Press in London.
