Anna Bartlett was born in Mount Isa and has lived most of her life in Brisbane. One of her earliest books, 'The Adventuer', was written and illustrated by Bartlett and was awarded an 'excellent' sticker by her Year Two teacher. Bartlett went on to complete a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Creative Writing Production at the Queensland University of Technology.
