'This book of wonderful rhymes came from an idea from my little (“I’m big”) five-year-old girl who ran into our bedroom one morning, yelled “There’s a Wombat in my Bed” and promptly ran back into her bedroom, where we found her under the bedcovers being “the wombat”. What else could I do but start making up these rhymes. With the help of “Uncle Phil”, the rhymes were transformed into the colourful images you see in the book.
