BiographyHistory

In 2011, Stephanie Convery was a PhD candidate at Monash University. She writes fiction, non-fiction, criticism and commentary. Stephanie has been the deputy culture editor of Guardian Australia, and was previously deputy editor at Overland magazine.

In 2020, she published After the Count: The Death of Davey Browne, about the death of Sydney boxer Davey Browne; it was shortlisted for the 'Nib' and longlisted for the Walkley Book Award in 2020, and longlisted for the Davitt Award and Colin Roderick Award in 2021.
