BiographyHistory

Welsh-born television director, scriptwriter, and script editor.

Glyn Davies came to Australia in 1967 to write for Crawford Productions (q.v.). He had previously written episodes for such UK television series as Murder Bag (1958), Crime Sheet (1959), No Hiding Place (1960-1961), and Echo Four Two (1961). One of the productions Davies devised for Crawfords and the Nine Network was The Link Men. He also worked on scripts for Homicide (1968-1969) and The Rovers (1969).

In the late 1960s, Davies and Tony Morphett (q.v.) formed Glyn Davies Associates (later Davies-Morphett Productions) and put together ten story ideas for the Dynasty series, which was eventually broadcast on the ABC.
