— Appears in: The Australian Woman's Mirror , 2 August vol. 3 no. 36 1927; (p. 18) In 1916 Nalanda and a friend took over a 60-acre block from the original selectors, who had gone to the Great War. She describes how they established and successfully ran a citrus and passionfruit orchard, although neither had any experience on the land.
