BiographyHistory

'Monica Lizama is a Chilean-born writer who has previously worked as a teacher, saleswoman, accountant, and even a clown. She now devotes her time to writing children's stories, including her 2008 New South Wales (NSW) Writer's Centre Open Book Prize-winning debut, Blotch. Lizama's short stories have also been featured in Dogs' Life Magazine and the NSW Women Writers' Anthology. Her latest children's book, All Paws to Chile, is now available. Lizama currently lives in Australia with her partner and dogs.' (Google books)
