Founded by Bridget Godbold in 1975. The Society's original postal magazine was Morialta and in 2006 was one of five prose and two poetry magazines circulating. The other titles are: Kalori, Panamuna, Weemala, Tyalinga, Jacaranda (formerly Mnemosyn) and Pierdes. Society members are kept updated via a distributed bi-monthly magazine titled Ring of Bright Water.
