'When 13-year-old Daniel Morcombe doesn’t return home on Sunday 7th December 2003, his parents' lives are shattered in an instant and they find themselves searching the shadows for the person responsible for their son’s disappearance.

As time passes they’re driven to desperate measures in order to honour their promise to bring Daniel home.

A junior detective is handed a slim suspect file to review. What he discovers as he unravels the truth challenges every notion he held about truth and justice. He initiates an undercover operation and lures the suspect into a fantasy world of crime and corruption to encourage him to confess.

Tensions rise as the young detective gets closer to the truth and Bruce and Denise feel the cold grip of time distance them from Daniel with every day that passes.

The answer to eight years of hope and despair balances precariously on one moment of truth – will Daniel finally be brought.'
