Contemporary Fiction Writing (EGL343)

Description

Students will produce creative writing in response to various art works and to works of contemporary fiction, in order to build skills in visualizing and writing scenes, details, images in fictional narratives. Various art works will be used to better understand visualisation, perspective and design, of using the senses, textures and shapes, sequences in order to develop images, scenes, characters and narratives. Students may choose to write prose or poetry, but will submit both forms during the course of the semester.
