Correspondent A. Cubitt, of Cubitt's Advertising and Telegraphic Agency Offices, 11 Bridge Street, Sydney, notes the wide and rapid distribution of copies of The Illustrated Sydney News in England. He bases his observation on the speedy responses he has received to missing persons advertisements.

The publishers of the Times advise that they have become the proprietors of the newspaper 'hitherto known as the Evening Mail'. From 20 June 1868, the newly acquired newspaper will be known as The Mail and published twice weekly.
