BiographyHistory

An offshoot of Associated Talking Pictures (ATP), Fanfare Pictures was established in 1936 by Thorold Dickinson and Chinese-Australian scenarist Gordon Wong Wellesley, who had come to ATP through Hollywood. The pair registered the £2000 company Fanfare Pictures in August 1936 and the following year released The High Command. A second film, Olympic Honeymoon, was released in 1940 in association with London Screenplays.
