Theatre Royal, Macquarie-Street : Henry the Hugly and Jemmy the Dodger, single work advertisement

An 1868 advertisement for the 'Theatre Royal, Macquarie-street'. (The exact nature of this venue is unclear. Authoritative sources on the theatre in colonial Sydney record only two playhouses with the name 'Theatre Royal'. The first was Barnett Levy's theatre, which burnt down in 1840, and the second was built in the early 1870s on the site of the former Prince of Wales Theatre.)

The performance to be staged appears to be titled 'Henry the Hugly and Jemmy the Dodger'. No further trace of this production has yet be found by AustLit.
