'Paddy Devine enlisted in the Australian Regular Army in 1979 and was commissioned as an armoured corps officer. During his military career Paddy served in a wide range of postings, including service with the US, British and New Zealand armies and on the headquarters of the Coalition Military Assistance Training Team, Iraq in 2004.
