Royal Victoria Theatre : Doing for the Best, &c., single work advertisement

An advertisement for the Royal Victoria Theatre production of Michael Rophino Lacy's Doing for the Best on 11 April 1868. The evening's entertainment also included Mr Barlow's Grand Polyglot Entertainment, an address by William Hoskins 'in honour of Shakespeare's Birthday' and a presentation of Barlow's 'Life in London'.

An advertisement for a supplementary recital by Miss Aitken in support of the Randwick Asylum for Destitute Children and the Sydney Female Refuge. The program for the recital is said to include 'a varied selection of old Sydney Favourite Pieces'.
