The first two novels in this series were originally released through Ellora's Cave under the pseudonym Anastasia Black.
In 2012, Tracy Cooper-Black began re-releasing the novels independently, using her and her co-author's actual names. The third book in the series, published much later than the first two, was credited solely to Tracy Cooper-Posey, but listed as the third volume of Scandalous Sirens.
The original two novels in the series are sometimes listed as belonging to the Wardell Duology or the Forbidden Set.
As of 2013, Tracy Cooper-Posey lists them on her website as the Scandalous Sirens series, and indicates the forthcoming publication of a third book in the series.
