History

The writingWA Awards aim to give emerging writers currently based in regional Western Australia the opportunity to develop their writing practice under the professional guidance of a mentor experienced in their field.

The Awards, valued at $6000.00 per annum in each of the prize categories, will provide the winning writers with up to 100 hours of professional writing support. (Source: http://www.writingwa.org/programmes-services/writingwa-awards/ )
