Highly stylised independent film.

According to funding body the Australian Film Commission:

'Jim's life revolves around the memory of his first love, Catherine. Now he is married to Louise and she knows nothing of his former life. There are some things that you just cannot explain. He has created for himself a fragile world, one in which he is haunted by memories of past experiences and passions. Jim's daughter Jasmin is the only one to understand the complexities that he created by his suppression of the truth. The film weaves between the 1970s and the present, returning to Jim and Catherine's first day at the beach, to unravel the layers of their life.'
