'Niki Wahapa was born in Sydney, and raised in Perth, Western Australia. She has a strong family heritage and link to New Zealand. Graduating in 2009 from Notre Dame University as a Registered Nurse, Niki later became inspired to write children's books. She currently still lives in Perth, Australia with her husband Mark, and children Riley, Alex and Charlotte who love to listen and review her work.
