BiographyHistory

'As well as a writer, Jemima is a registered psychologist, student counsellor and teacher. Jemima is passionate about being an agent of social change, by replacing fear with understanding through her writing, and in her psychology practice. Jemima’s perspective on writing focuses on inclusion as a natural way of being in the world, and her picture book themes foster a sense of connection, compassion and belonging. As a Person of Colour, Jemima is passionate about increasing representation, both in authorship of children’s literature, and in character representation.' (Amazon)
