'From an early age I discovered that I liked food! You know, some people eat to live and some people, live to eat. I was the latter!

'Growing up in a traditional English family, I was eating the usual family meals, but in addition, I was also exposed to a varied selection of eating establishments, from Coffee Shops to Curry Houses and pretty much every style in between.

'On a couple of family outings, I was also introduced to Chefs, wearing their tall white hats!

'I was inspired to one day, be a Chef …

'However, after commencing my career in the Kitchen, my Food Service focus changed and the other side of the counter became my domain and the real start of my journey.

'This book is my Life’s Journey through the Food Service Industry.

'I hope any young person working in this industry reading my book will gain inspiration from it.'
