Peter Stankovic was born in Germany but came to Australia at the age of two. The family started life in New South Wales but soon moved to Brisbane where Peter was educated.
At a young age Peter discovered a love of stories in books and film. He also liked physical pursuits and enjoyed playing cricket in particular. After qualifying as a Chartered Accountant he joined a large accountancy firm in London. There he attended a night film class which inspired him to make short films with friends.
Writing began with film scripts which eventually led to writing novels. After retiring from the corporate world, he began writing more seriously.nally until he retired from his finance career when he took up full time writing.
