History

Australia-China Council provides awards and grants to support cultural programs and authors in Australia.

Notes

  • 'Article 9 of the Order establishing the Australia-China Council empowers the Council to make grants and loans for the purpose of promoting Australia-China relations. Accordingly, the Council has operated a grant scheme from its inception'. (Australia-China Council Annual Report 1991/1992, p.19).
